The foundation of our ministry to women is God’s word. In Titus 2, the Lord gives us instruction that women are to teach other women how to apply scripture to their lives. This is because we can understand the unique roles of women, as wives, daughters, sisters, neighbors and friends. We need other women to make those unique applications in our own lives, so that we can grow in our understanding of our Savior and His instruction in His Word.

In order to live out this instruction in Titus 2, we refer to ourselves as, Women In the Church (WIC). Women In the Church is not a club or social group. Rather it is a means of connecting the women in our church with each other. Our various ministries are coordinated through a WIC Council. The council’s function is to oversee the women’s ministries here at church, working to fulfill the vision and direction of the church’s Session (ruling & teaching elders). Our council also seeks to serve and nurture the women of Covenant.

You will find links on this page giving you more detailed information of ways that you can connect with other women and to the life of the church at large. If you have questions, please email our Director of Women’s Ministries, Jen Stegmann at: jens@covenantpres.com. She would be happy to help you find the best way to get to know others in the church.

“The purpose of the Women In the Church
Is that every woman know Christ personally
And be committed to extending His kingdom
In her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world.”
