Wednesday Nights this Fall

Our Wednesday night dinner and Bible study has started! This year there are children's activities and adult electives to choose from. These electives will begin September 8.

• Christ in the Old Testament: An Old Testament Survey taught by Pastor Matt Bradley in Room 224
  
• C.S. Lewis Study led by Pastor Wayne Herring in Room 205
  
• Galatians taught by Pastor Roy Carter in the Fellowship Hall 
  
• Stephen Ministry led by Pastor Jack Foster in Room 221

Ethiopia Update

InterFACE Ministries: Be a "First Friend" to International Students

08/11/2010 - 09/02/2010

Be a First Friend to a Vanderbilt international student! Build a friendship with an internatonal student by meeting with the student at least once a month during the 2010/2011 school year.

For those interested, there is a mandatory 1-hour orientation offered on either Monday, August 30, or Thursday, September 2, in the Vanderbilt Student Life Center.

Prayer Breakfast

Anyone is welcomed to join members on Tuesday mornings at 6:45 a.m. to pray on behalf of our church and community. Members prayer over prayer requests e-mailed to the congregation on Tuesday mornings. Breakfast is provided.

Time Lapse Video

BlueSky Filmworks has made a video spanning the journey of our new sanctuary. The video is a little over eight minutes long, and covers the ground-breaking ceremony, moving in the organ, the sanctuary dedication, and includes interviews with church members. You can watch the video here.
