The purpose of Covenant Presbyterian’s Committee on Mission to Nashville and North America (MNNA) is to advance God’s kingdom in the Nashville region and North America through providing support to Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) church plants, Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) campus ministries, PCA seminarians, and outreach organizations serving in the areas of mercy, compassion, justice, evangelism, and discipleship. The committee prayerfully seeks to unite the time, talents, treasures and desires of Christ’s body at Covenant with the needs and opportunities of our supported ministries. We work actively to identify areas of need in the city and develop strategies to meet such needs either through building relationships with the best existing organizations serving each area or, where no organization exists, to explore ways Covenant members can work directly or indirectly to meet such needs.
“. . . whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:26-28)
