Care
If you are a member of Covenant, you have been assigned a care leader who is given the privilege of knowing you and helping you stay plugged in. A care leader may not know all the answers, but they can assist in helping with things like:
- Being a friend and familiar face as you are joining the church
- Plugging you into various ministry opportunities
- Connecting you with other members
- Answering your questions about Covenant and hearing your concerns
- Helping you access church resources for things like,
- Pastoral counseling when facing challenging circumstances and decisions
- Getting on our public prayer list or "elders-only" prayer list
- Getting on our meal train list when recovering from illness or birth of a baby
- Notifying the church for significant events like a hospitalization, birth of a baby, or death of a loved one
- Restorative Care for addressing serious or life-dominating issues like addiction, difficult family issues, depression, and mental illness

- Check your "Groups" in the Covenant app for the Congregational Care Team and leader you have been assigned. You can also reach out to McKenna Schmidt for help finding your care leader information.

Restorative Care
The Restorative Care ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church seeks to cultivate a safe place for the broken and suffering to receive hope and care. It seeks to connect people to the healing care of Jesus, who brings restoration to those suffering from life-dominating sin, crises, or brokenness. The purpose of restorative care is to help people move through life-dominating sin, crises, or brokenness by means of gospel-empowered healing and wholeness in community.
We can help you get connected to pastoral counseling, therapeutic counseling, intercessory prayer, healing prayer, medical/psychiatric care, support communities, care teams, and other services that can help during times of crisis. All of this is accomplished through a caring and confidential team and process.
