If the data is right, loneliness for men is tragic. This is not new, of course. Long ago, God Himself designed us for relationship with others.

At Covenant we long to see men connecting with one another in deep friendships that last years. C.S. Lewis once keenly observed this about the origins of friendships: “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.'"

We look forward to seeing many of these moments together. Our hope is to connect men through both formal and informal gatherings —from Bible studies to pubs to living rooms. As we gather for prayer and encouragement, we hope for the Lord to draw us nearer to one another and to Him.
