Missions

Covenant believes that mission is an integral part of the Church’s biblical identity. Missions at Covenant exists to bear witness to God’s Kingdom in word and deed from Nashville to the Nations. Covenant’s Missions Ministry is served by five subcommittees within the missions committee: PRAY, GROW, GIVE, GO, and REACH. These committees seek to partner with missionaries and ministry partnerships around the world that work to make Christ’s name known through the following four focus areas: Church Planting, Campus Ministries, Compassionate Partnerships, and engaging the Countless Unreached.

4. Countless Unreached

It is estimated that over 6,000 people groups in the world are categorized as unreached. This means about 3.48 billion people are without an indigenous Christian church and have never heard or embraced the gospel*. It is Covenant's hope that our church would identify a specific unreached people group with which to engage. Our Mission Committees are actively praying for this vision to be realized in the coming year.
